Kathy Thielke Chen (TIL-KEY-CHEN)

Owner and Founder

Kathy is a California Licensed Private Professional Fiduciary, Certified Estate Planner™ and a recovering attorney. She is a member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California, Peninsula Estate Planners Council and National Institute of Certified Estate Planners.

Her broad professional experience is diverse and includes estate planning education, trust administration and management, previous legal practice and domestic violence intervention and prevention work. Beyond that her work experience includes founding Just a Party Girl Event Planning, teaching skiing and outreach to teenagers.

Kathy holds degrees from Northeastern University School of Law and Santa Clara University. She has served as an executor/personal representative/advisor/trust administrator, and successor trustee in three states.

Kathy is a rare Bay Area native and makes her home in Palo Alto with her family-including three teenage girls, one amazing fox red labrador and two guinea pigs. She is most at home on the slopes or at sea.


Angela Cearns, Technology Guru, AsKevin

Angela holds a Master of Engineering in Network Security from the University of Colorado. She had been a “digital transformation” executive in various tech giants such as Amazon and Symantec (Norton Anti-Virus). She finished her corporate career as the Chief Digital Officer at Pizza Hut International and led its digital strategy for 108 countries.

After spending 25+ years helping companies to develop technologies, she decides to focus on the impact of these technologies on individuals, especially seniors. She founded AsKevin Inc., with the understanding that technologies create conveniences, but also create a lot of complexities and difficulties for seniors. AsKevin’s vision is to provide holistic tech help and make it easier for seniors and individuals to live in today’s digital life.


Richard Hua is the Founder & CEO of Roundleaf, a boutique financial services firm he launched in 2006 to help individuals reset their financial lives. For nearly two decades, Roundleaf has guided clients through eliminating debt, rebuilding credit, improving cash flow, and regaining financial confidence through clear, practical strategies.

Richard brings a real-world perspective shaped by working with people at every stage of financial stress—from overwhelmed to on track. His approach focuses on clarity over complexity, informed decision-making, and building systems that create lasting momentum, not quick fixes. He is also a Managing Partner at VIAM Builders, a Bay Area real estate development firm, where he applies disciplined financial structuring and long-term thinking to complex residential projects.
